Parking for P-sign holders

If you hold a disability parking card (P-sign), you can ask to be exempted from the national park's regional fee. E-mail the park in good time before your visit with your registration number and the P-sign as the reason; the park's payment page gives the address.

Boats and tours

For the amphibian boat, contact the operator before you travel (+354 478 2222, [email protected]) to ask what boarding involves for your situation. Glacier walks and ice cave tours are on uneven ice and need at least moderate fitness; the operators do not recommend them for people with spinal injuries or poor cardiovascular health.
